What the Chint Contactor Coil (Replacement) does
Chint NC1 and NXC contactors are common in locally built changeover and control panels. When the coil fails, the contactor will not pull in — or chatters and burns its contacts.
A replacement coil is a quick, economical repair when the contactor's main contacts are still good.
Signs it needs replacing
- Contactor not closing on command.
- Chattering or humming.
- Burnt or melted coil.

Send us these on WhatsApp and our engineers will confirm the exact part before you pay:
- The contactor model and coil voltage from the label.
Fitting notes
Isolate all supplies and prove dead. Match the coil voltage exactly — 24 V DC, 110 V AC or 220 V AC. Inspect contacts and check the control supply after fitting.
Frequently asked questions
Can I fit a 220 V coil on a 24 V circuit?+
No — the coil voltage must match the control circuit, or it will not pull in or will burn out.
Is Chint reliable for changeover panels?+
Correctly sized and installed, yes. Sizing to the load current and using the right utilisation category matter most.
Do you stock other brands?+
Yes — Schneider and Lovato coils, and complete contactors.
